Through the strengthening of our multifaceted paepae we embark on the journey to the Milky Way.

Ngā Paepae ō Rangi focuses on celebrating, strengthening and uplifting the House of Paerangi (Ngāti Rangi uri and hāpori).

The House of Paerangi, is the iwi and comes from the metaphor, ‘Te whare toka ō Paerangi’ which is a descriptor for Koro Ruapehu, the source of our identity.

The pae waho and pae roto are the points from which all mahi is achieved.

Pae Tangata is the beating heart of Ngāti Rangi and the community it serves.

All three pae aim to achieve Pae Ora, the way we celebrate and uphold our uniqueness and how we foster our potential as uri, whānau, marae, hapū, rōpu, hāpori and as a wider community.
