He Puna Ora | Pregnancy and Parenting

He Puna Ora is a pregnancy and parenting service that targets wāhine, Hapū wāhine, whānau and tamariki under the age of three.

A key aim is to reduce harm and improve well-being of children by addressing the needs of the parents and strengthen the whānau environment, using mātauranga Māori as an avenue to wellness and creating solutions to change their situation.

Whānau Ora is the approach used to support whānau in our community to enable them to develop a plan for their future and to trust in their own solutions. It is about restoring their self-confidence and belief in their own capacity to provide for themselves taking a collective approach to support those who need it most.

Wāhine Ora

Wāhine Ora is a group space for Māmā who are expecting or have tamariki under the age of three, to gather every week to share space, kōrero and kai with other mama while learning new skills.
