Ngāti Rangi and Uenuku are holding a series of wānanga to share and collect information with uri before deciding a response
The first wānanga is on THIS Sunday at Mākaranui Marae on the Ohākune-Raetihi Road starting at 9am with a Pōwhiri. Whether for or against, we extend this invite to all our uri to come, share your views and learn more about 1080 and it's use in pest management. Representatives from TBfree and DoC will also be there to help answer any questions you may have.

9am Pōwhiri, 10am site visit to Ohākune Lakes, 11am Marae discussions and information sharing, 1pm Lunch and Karakia.
Sunday 10 April @ Raetihi Pah
9am Pōwhiri, 10am site visit, 11am Marae discussions and information sharing, 1pm Lunch and karakia.
Sunday 8 May @ Maungārongo Marae
10am Pōwhiri, 10.30am discussions, 12.30 Lunch and karakia.
A seperate wānanga is also being planned for hunters in April, the date and venue are yet to be confirmed
